Good Morning, Strawbery Banke StoryWalk

Children, adults, and families are invited to read Good Morning, Strawbery Banke, page-by-page, while walking the grounds of the Museum, free of charge, through April 2022. The StoryWalk® can be read in any order. Orientation signs are located outside of the TYCO Visitors Center at 14 Hancock Street and near the entrance located by Pickwick’s at the Banke on Atkinson Street.

Launched as part of National Children’s Book Week (Nov 8-14, 2021), the StoryWalk® at Strawbery Banke reproduced pages from the children’s book Good Morning, Strawbery Banke, written and illustrated by Wickie Rowland, on weather-resistant signs located around the grounds of Strawbery Banke.

Rowland’s book, Good Morning, Strawbery Banke, follows the story of J.D., a black cat who roams the 10-acre living history museum and walks through different perspectives and ways of life, from historic to modern.
